Buritto Brothers

Burrito Brothers has been a Gainesville institution for over thrity years. During those thirty years, a lot of great mexican food was served from a small "hole in the wall" near the corner of University Avenue and 13th Street. Then, a developer came along with a grand vision to transform the entire corner (and 3 other blocks) into a huge 8 story project called University Corners (warning flash only site). So, the "hole in the wall" is being demolished. Fortunately, the developer worked with the Presbyterian and Disciples of Christ Student Center to create a temporary location for Burrito Brothers until they can move into their new digs at the completed University Corners. Today, March 6 2006, is the first day they are back in business at the new (temporary) location after a two week hiatus. Welcome back Randy and Janet. I look forward to getting a couple of black bean burritos with serrano peppers at your new spot. But, today the line was just too long.
