Presentation Link

Are you looking for centralized storage for all of your logging data that won't cost an arm and a leg? How about an efficient way to search that in real time without waiting for any batch processes to modify that data or moved it around? Maybe you just want a NoSQL data store with no single point of failure? Or a better search feature for your e-commerce website? Or a dashboard that truly updates in real time?

Martin Smith will be presenting Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana; as a combined stack, these massively popular open source projects provide an end to end solution for indexing, searching, and visualizing real time unstructured and structured data. With a focus on Elasticsearch, you'll hear about the capabilities, design, and use cases for all three, and how you can implement them in 10 minutes with a minimum of investment. You'll also hear about other use cases just for Elasticsearch, and how it can be used as a search engine and a NoSQL data store.

Martin Smith is a DevOps Engineer at Rackspace, the #1 Managed Cloud Company.
