Gainesville Java User Group {GatorJUG} ::: Android

May 9 2012 6:00 pm
May 9 2012 9:00 pm
America/New York
Description:

Our very own Kevin Neelands will introduce us to Java/Android programing. The meeting will be held at Santafe College, third floor of S-building next to the bookstore, Rm 326. Kevin Neelands has done mobile app development for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices. He will talk about some of the initial things he learned about Android while porting iOS apps to Android, specifically how Android differs from iOS. This talk will de-emphasize technical aspects and will be appropriate for people who are familiar with Java but just starting Android programing.

Please RSVP if you plan to come so we'll know how much pizza to order. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event! Invite your friends.

You must join Codetown in order to RSVP and here's the link to the event to RSVP: http://www.codetown.us/events/gainesville-java-user-group
