"Our friends at the MIT Club of Central Florida have issued us a
special last-minute invitation to attend an MIT Media Lab presentation
Tuesday, and extended the discount registration fee especially for us
through today (Saturday the 16th).

Having visited the MIT Media Lab on numerous occasions, I can assure
you that the cutting edge work of the Lab (including the One Laptop
Per Child initiative) is well worth hearing about! (See:

MIT MEDIA LAB PRESENTATION -TUESDAY, FEB. 19, 2008

Club of Central Florida

Henry Holtzman, a Media Lab researcher, will be speaking about the
lab's activities, including OLPC, and Consumer Electronics 2.0. He
directs the Lab's Consumer Electronics 2.0 initiative, a collaboration
with 14 Media Lab sponsor companies to formulate the principles for a
new generation of consumer electronics that are highly connected,
seamlessly interoperable, situation-aware, and radically simple.
